This program was developed over the course of several years of working with students who have learning differences. The program achieved a 98% success in bringing these students up to their grade level. The materials were developed with a variety of learning differences in view and are designed for students who are English speakers. קְלִיק אִיט אִין עִבְרִית has as its motivating idea the belief that learning Hebrew should be fun. The students master the skills of reading and learning vocabulary while enjoying themselves playing games. They do not even realize that they are learning, but they are! The units group letters together that allow students to read words that they can then immediately employ in conversation. The vocabulary which consists of words using only the letters that have been introduced is employed to create stories and dialogues. These stories and dialogues are initially presented as comics and animation and then in plain text. I do not use vocabulary that I have not laid the groundwork for by teaching the letters required to read the words. The program is cumulative and introduces new letters and vocabulary while reinforcing the letters and words already learned. My experience has been that once students are introduced to this program, they ask for it. The first question I get in the morning is, “Are we using קְלִיק אִיט אִין עִבְרִית today?”
