About this course
Recognising words and saying them are major challenges for learners of Chinese, especially for non-native Mandarin speakers. In this course, your child will learn words for parts of the body and clothing with a guided reader and interactive games. These have been carefully scaffolded to aid and reinforce learning. There are also subtle guides in English, such as subtitles of spoken words, to help you. The games are best played on the iPad to use the dictation feature. Please make sure that a Simplified Chinese Keyboard is installed (Settings>General>Keyboards>Add New Keyboard>Chinese,Simplified-Pinyin or Chinese,Simplified-Handwriting) on your iPad before starting to play.
